KAW

KAW is a multidisciplinary firm of researchers, advisors and architects. From our three offices, we work on renewal of existing cities, towns and neighborhoods across the Netherlands. We often work for municipalities, provinces, and the national government, as well as housing associations, care institutions, project developers, and resident collectives.

In our projects, we combine strategic consultancy with concrete spatial planning. We tackle urgent and complex questions, like: How do we create suitable housing for elderly people? What impact could the Nedersaksenlijn have on a city like Emmen? How can we make housing more affordable? Our strategies, advice, and design always aim to support healthy, inclusive and livable environments. We focus on spatial and financial accessibility for all—with special attention to vulnerable groups.
